- Digital Preservation and the Future of Culture will be released in November (2006) and is edited by Marilyn Deegan and Simon Tanner. According to the publisher's description it "covers every aspect and view of the complexities of preserving information in new digital formats. Chapters written by experts cover formats, authenticity, preservation strategies, international trends, Web archiving, metadata, institutional policies, and the comparative costs of preservation projects."
- Preservation Management for Libraries, Museums And Archives was released in September. Edited by G.E. Gorman and Sydney Shep, the book "offers cutting-edge guidance for the sustainability of collections including...digitization...."
- Archiving the Web: A Guide for Information Management Professionals was also released in September and was written by Adrian Brown. "Coverage includes the development of web archiving; selection policies; collection methods; quality assurance; preservation; delivery to users; optimizing Web sites for archiving';managing programs; and more." Hopefully this books conveys some of the lessons being learned from the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program.
